(-x - 4) / (x+5) > 0 

Write your answer using interval notation

we have : 

(-x - 4) / (x+5) > 0  

so to calculate it should : 

-x - 4 = 0  and x + 5 =/= 0 

so : 

x = -4  and  x =/= -5
