Description
United States presidents have expressed, delegated, and inherent sources of power. Define these different sources of powers and give examples of each. Are there any powers that you think should be taken away from the president? If so, which ones and why? As the president’s powers have expanded and grown, so, too, has the executive branch. The president is the “boss” of all federal agencies connected to the executive branch. Consider the different federal agencies run by the president. Which federal agency did you find most fascinating? Why? Do you think that the executive branch (including the president and all federal agencies) is too big? Why or why not?
