Why are most birth control methods marketed towards and designed for females? Would it be advantageous to develop more methods designed for male use? Is birth control the only concern when it comes to sex?

Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

Hello Counterelite, most family planning methods are aimed towards women because their bodies are able to respond to them without adverse effects. For men, thy hav only one hormone that is testesterone, spermatogenesis is a continuous process unlike for the women whose ovulation is periodical. For this reason, it i s easier to develop drugs which regulate ovulation than spermatogenesis. When it comes to sex, birth control is not the only concern, of importance also is disease control where sexually transmitted diseases and infections are controlled.

Hope this did assist. Please let me know if you need any clarification. I'm always happy to answer your questions. I will be pleased if you make me your private tutor. Thank you
