1. Mona Lisa
The harmony showed in the perspectival illustration, the combination of the aloof
backdrop and Mona Lisa was demonstrated neatly. The picture means to me that during
Renaissance history, art was used to show love as Giorgio Vasari took to express it to
Francesco, his wife. A portrait painting at the time spoke about status and position to show
the place of the wealthy in society (Bald, 2019). The painting is important to my project
because this painting inspired many artists in the world as it acts as an icon of the
renaissance. Hence, it inspires me as well.
2. The Starry Night Painting
The painting interests me because it shows a dreamy interpretation of an asylum room
sweeping perspective. The painting depicts what artists could envision in isolation. At the
time the painting was made, artists used such techniques to expel inner conflict to the canvas.
It represents religion to the society through an imagination of Gethsemane in a biblical
allegory (Bald, 2019). The painting is a pillar for my project as it invigorates nocturnal study
of view.
3. The Birth of Venus
The painting interests me because of its use of tempera on canvas than the usual wood
panel used in Mona Lisa. The painting represents the ancient society as a rebirth of the

antiquity as would philosophy, poetry, and architecture convey. Since Venus signifies a
Roman goddess of love to the ancient Romans, it meant to that society used love has a pillar
to good living (Bald, 2019). The painting is imperative to my projects as it shows a break
