The two methods that can be used in data collection for job analysis are the observation and interview methods. the observation one dealing with jobs most related to physical ability and interview being for th professional jobs. these two have advantages and disadvantages, for instance, the observation method is less costly and it takes lesser time. the interview method have pros such as that it helps the interviewers know the job seeker more. disadvantages include that for interview, it is more complicated and expensive and the observation method misses out on the non observable features.
The competency model relates to a company i would like to work in in that the people hired to work are competent enough for their jobs. the two main competencies i can use are integrity and good communication skills.Hope this did assist.
