Summary
The film documentary "Pandora's box" makes a convincing case advocating for nuclear
power as an energy source which will reduce the adverse effects of climate change since there is
an increase in population and electricity demand. This film got released in 2013 and is a story
about nuclear energy to inform the public. The documentary is a feature about nuclear energy's
history and future. It also explores the reasons why and how the controversial discovery is
getting positive reactions from the other side of the debate who was previously against the
energy source. Pandora's Box comprises interviews from environmentalists as well as nuclear
scientists spread worldwide. The environmentalists displayed a negative attitude towards
technology. Also contained in the film are the Chernobyl and Fukuyama nuclear plants and their
failures. The documentary from Robert Stone creates a rethink about nuclear energy. The
documentary argues that the debate against nuclear energy is misrepresented especially by the
past 60s environmentalists. The film also mentions other clean energy sources and further
indicates that the use of solar energy and wind turbines fail to meet the urgent need.
