25.000 mL of H2SO4 was titrated with 0.150 M KOH.  The end point was reached when 31.56 mL of KOH was added.  Calculate the concentration of the H2SO4.

H2SO4 +2KOH  -->K2SO4 +2H2O

Calculating the mole of KOH.

Given molarity =.150M

Volume of KOH required to reach the end point =31.56mL=.03156L

Now the mole is given by=Molarity*volume =.03156.150 =.004734 mole

Now ,from the reaction 2 mole of KOH will react with 1 mole of H2SO4

Therefore .004734 mole will react with .004734/2 mole =.002367 mole.

Now the molarity of H2SO4=mole/vol(liter) =.002367/(.025)=.09468 M(answer)
