Various technologies have been adopted by organizations to help in operations as well as
in decision making processes with the intention of increasing the organization's productivity.
Implementation of these technologies was carried out for the good reasons for the organization,
but in most cases, it has ended up resulting in negative outcomes especially regarding the
operations and level of productivity. Such negative impacts have been found to be very
detrimental especially to the organization culture. Various articles have been written to explain
the same with also media highlighting on the same with the need to take care to ensure that the
impact of these technologies does not affect the productivity of the organization.
Impacts of Technology on Organization Culture

intention, purpose" by Doug Claffey; It is apparent that the technology adopted by organizations
is seriously affecting their cultures. Organizations just hope that such technologies lead to

Teo, & Li, 2015). In essence, with the technology tearing up the barriers, it can be noted that the
amount of information which was available to the upper management decreases with the
employees putting so much and promoting a greater sense of ensuring the organization provides
quality services and products.
