If you had a department that was lacking diversity and had an opened/vacant position, would you favor a minority candidate over a non minority if the non-minority had stronger skills,qualifications, etc? Why or why not?

There could be heaps of clarifications here: Maybe your capabilities aren't as solid as you think they seem to be, or perhaps something else annoyed the employe (messy written work, amateurish air, or, gracious I don't have the foggiest idea, possibly you appear to be adversarial). On the other hand perhaps you're an inconceivably solid hopeful, however so were other individuals.
or may be he/she would not be loyal to our firm .
