C Programming: Sorting a File containing records

Question description

Write a program that reads a file that contains an unknown number of records. These records contain: first and last names, address, city, state, and a phone number. All fields are separated by a tab (‘\t’) and in the file it is unknown if each record is on a new line or just separated by tabs as well. Also one more request, can you have my program output what each file contains. For example, output what the file with the records hold followed by outputting what the other file holds which should be the records sorted by city. It would be nice if you can avoid using break statements, unless used with switch statements. Also it would be nice if you can show me how to do it using dynamic memory allocation and without it (using structures and arrays I would assume).
