I need to give an example of a Logarithmic Expression where associative property does not work and then explain why.

ln[(-2)(-3)*(4)] != ln (6*4) = ln6+ln4

but 

ln[(-2)(-3)*(4)]  != ln(-2) +ln(-3*4) = ln(-2)+ln(-12) 

because the domain of logarithm is positive real number
