Chapter 20 summary
Human development is quite exponential. In every person's life, they work tiredly in their
younger age to ensure that they achieve their desired future. Within the growth and development
of persons, the most critical period is the 20's up to '30s. Immediately an individual hits the age
above 30 years there are often some processes that undergo within his body mechanism and
through which they may pose a much challenge as an individual develops. The chapter brings
forth the significant aspects of Biosocial development within adulthood.
The case under examination shows a better understanding of individual aging. The lady
in discussions shows how much an individual can preserve within a given environment clouded
by difficulties and insecurity. The lady moves ahead and ensures that despite the challenges and
the threats of abortion they would take it up to herself and sire the child. It comes as a surprise to
them, but the decision is quite encouraging.
The chapter continues and examines the factors that an individual experience through
adulthood progress. The aging period comes with it several continued conditions that would
consider the continued advancement in adulthood. Age is a number, and the reality is the fact
that as the individuals develop they change al throughout either mentally or physically. The
sense of belonging to a given society hits an individual at the age of 30 years. As in the case
above the lady was in a dilemma as to what life to choose either to associate themselves with the
next experience of adulthood or to have to bear with the children that she has always taken care
of despite the challenges she faces in the society.
There is the presence of higher blood pressure within an aging adult as compared to a
younger individual in his or her 20's. The breathing rate does not change despite the age of the
