Harjas Bal Mary Lou Klassen PACS 101 March 14,2019 The career I intend to research and apply it to peace is a police officer. It’s a coincidence because in the near future, I intend to become a police officer and make it my career, so that is also another reason why I chose to research this career. A police officer is also known as a law enforcement officer that focuses on protecting people in the society. Next, there are various types of activities that police officers perform on a daily basis such as crime prevention, emergency response, and investigations. In my opinion, peace is related to becoming a police officer because it comes with a responsibility of being involved in the society and creating peace for the people. Furthermore, a police officer relates to peace because their main mission when they go out on duty is to prevent violence and to create freedom from fear of violence between individuals and groups in the society.
