State the degree and leading coefficient of each polynomial in one variable

Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

To state the two you need a polynomial which will help us understand both terms Lets use the example below

X^2−3+x

The degree of a polynomial is defined as the highest degree of its terms .eg in this case is 2 .

Leading coefficient is the coefficient of the leading term e.g. here leading term is x^2 thus coefficient is 1
