Distribute the fractions on both sides across the parantheses by using multiplication.

(2/9)m-16/9=(2/3)m+4/3=(6/9)m+12/9 I changed the fractions to make common denominators.

(2/9)m-16/9=(6/9)m+12/9 Add 16/9 to both sides

(2/9)m=(6/9)m+28/9 Subtract (6/9)m from both sides.

-(4/9)m=28/9 Divide both sides by -4/9

m=-7
