CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEMS IN AMERICA
Crime disrupts living and interacting with harmony. Therefore, every county of the world has
stipulated rules by which their community should abide to exercise a peaceful coexistence. As
such, parliament has the mandate to formulate laws which are later approved by the president
and if anyone breaks them, they become liable to the three arms of criminal justice: the law
enforcement, the courts and the agencies that detain with supervise offenders.
The following are responses to several queries about the criminal and justice systems in
1) Justice is not for sale, but some issues in the recent past contradict this fact. Justice is a matter
of fairness. They are being able to deliver the right sentence to one who is convicted and
similarly, releasing one who is innocent of a crime. Contrary to this belief, the system of criminal
justice has resulted in unethical practices that deny justice to some of the victims while allowing
others to receive the justice they do not deserve.
