Your best friend, Lindsey, and you are working together in the surgical ICU. Often you cover for her when she goes to lunch or on breaks. You notice that often her clients complain of being in pain, even though she has told you that she medicated them right before she left the unit. You are suspicious that she is using the medications that she says she is giving to her clients.

NURSING LEADERSHIP
Abstract
The case scenario was all about a job vacancy for a Registered nurse. The qualifications were all
clear on the type of person required to do the job descriptions given. For me to qualify, I had to
equip myself by evaluating on all the possible questions expected to be asked in the interview,
alongside with their answers and summaries. The second thing I was to check on is my dressing
code. I had to ensure that I went through my wardrobe and get something more official, while
also looking for the perfect things to carry with me to the interview. Still under the interview, I
was to make sure that I was thoroughly prepared, in case something from the obvious happened.
While working, I noticed that my colleague was doing some things against the medical rules, so
it was to me to make sure that I addressed the issue, putting into consideration that there could
arise some consequences if I did not do anything to cab that.
Introduction
A registered nurse is one who holds an associate degree in nursing, and has passed the NCLEXRN exam, registered under the national council of state boards of nursing. The other qualification
is that they are expected to have met all the other licensing requirements mandated by their
state’s board of nursing. The case scenario to be looked at, focuses on a job advert that comes up,
with qualifications that matches those of a registered nurse and so being one, I had to make sure
that I evaluated all the possible questions to be asked, how to dress to match with the occasion,
and lastly under interview, make sure that I was prepared to give a positive impression. While
working, I notice that my best friend, who is my colleague, is doing some things against the law
of medicine and thus make it my responsibility to take action to prevent possible consequences.
