Fault tolerant support is well catered for since if one fails others dont
Balanced workload thus no issue of one being overloaded by others hence fast
Resource conflicts – memory, i/o, whereby one processor may conflict with other in the mode of acccess
in terms of configuration it has Complex implementation
The cost is very high even though efficient
Simplicity in terms of configuration since just needs one processor to configure
Protection of system and data since they are just within one processor
Master CPU becomes a bottleneck since it may overheat due to heavy workload
Reliability issues – if master CPU fails entire system fails thus its no longer reliable
For 2 we recommend a master slave since the workload of the computer is not heavy and its much cheaper and simple
