Introduction
An in-depth study of Proctor and Gamble commenced their business by the
production of candles in small scale having its headquarter in the United States of America. It
is a company founded in the year 1837. The central core business is the production of
consumer goods to the market. Product basis includes a portfolio of over 380 products all
over the world, having shampoos and soaps as the most widely known items. Growth as a
significant booster for every company, Proctor, and Gamble has diversified into various
markets. In this case analysis, expansion into India located in Asia is seen to make business
sense. It is an untapped market, having an extremely high population concentrated in all
major cities within India. Huge populations-bases are a potential customer base, and
therefore, entry into such a market requires the company to evaluate the market topography,
workability atmosphere, business research on demand levels and competitors present among
many others. The latter form of business expansion being a new frontier line of business is a
necessity to fully grasp quota understanding to enhance counter global business bottlenecks
that may be present.
Human Resource Strategy
Implementation of a robust human resource strategy will ensure productive efficiency
and effectiveness. Therefore, it is wise to use the Harvard Map Model interpretation
approach. It includes recruitment, staff selection, placement, promotions, appraisals, staff
assessments, promotions, and terminations. The above will enable a smooth transition and
attainment of the highest level of right future staff adaptability and the right personnel for the
works ahead.
