POL 362 Contemporary Theory Final Question Set

Choose one question from below and compose an essay answer. You may use the class
readings and your notes while composing your answer. You may not work with others. Your
answer should target 1,250-1,500 words (appx. 5-6 pages with normal formatting: double
space, 12 pt font, and normal page margins).
Although you may include material from before the midterm exam in your answer, you must
also use material since the midterm exam in your comparisons.

1. During this class you may have noticed that many of our topics overlapped with one
another. Were you surprised at some of these connections? Can you give some examples of
these connections from the class? Finally, can you make an argument for which one is the
most relevant for future developments in political theory?

contemporary theory that are surprising (given all the divisions). Were you surprised by some
of these points of agreement? Were you surprised by some of the differences among
