Smith explains the "Good News" of Christianity as the belief that Christian love can overcome the fear of death, guilt, and the miseries of unbridled ego. If this Good News is not played in its mythic or supernatural aspects–something Smith really insists upon–how exactly is that supposed to work?

Paul of Tarsus wrote: "If Christ be not risen, then is our faith vain." Even without the supernatural apparatus, Smith seems to agree with that, true? Why is the Resurrection accorded such a central place in Christianity?

Great stories of heroic characters told in the bible are fascinating yet are believed without much
questioning. Christianity narration is built around a supernatural God who can manifest in any
form and any time to his subjects. Believers have no authority to doubt or question the validity of
the Christian religious stories. From the stories of the time he spoke and appeared to his people
like Moses in the Old Testament to the New Testament when he manifests in other forms, these
Christian stories seem to be held with great respect in the hearts of believers. Jesus is described
as having been conceived of a virgin lady, a mystery that Smith appears not to lay much
emphasis on. Believers of Christianity are cognisant that God is a supernatural being that can
appear in different forms and should not be questioned. In the New Testament for example,
