Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

1) x -(180-x)  =40

x = 110

2)

x-(180-x) =-67

2x = 180-67

x = 113/2 = 56.5

3)x/(180-x) = 1/5

5x = 180-x

x = 30, 180-x = 150

4) 4x-10 = 5x ???

x =

Please let me know if you need any clarification. I'm always happy to answer your questions.
