I have learned about components that make the information system productive valuable.
The information system requires components to collect, process, manage, analyze and distribute
information for it to be effective. The first component I have learned is people. The development
and maintenance of the information system involve teams of people. Such roles include
developers, visionaries and managers. Every group of people brings along innovative ideas for
the success of system productivity. Therefore, the failure and success of most information
systems rely upon the role played by different stakeholders. The managers should keep some
crucial information about the system secretively from leaking to the junior staff. This helps to
provide cybersecurity and confidentiality of the data stored.
Technology is also relevant in making a complete information system. This includes
telecommunications, software, and hardware. Technology helps to store, retrieve and analyze
data easier to compare the performance of various factors. For example, big global companies
have strong technology systems that enable the good performance of operations in the global
