Critically look at and persuasively describe why you feel your subject person has demonstrated behaviors and characteristics indicative of a leader who has gone beyond what contemporary western society deems as legal or appropriate. Specifically, describe the complex issues surrounding the leader’s actions and behaviors, provide credible evidence to support your claim, and defend your conclusion. Your analysis should include a combination of a few of the following: a) behaviors b) types and sources of power c) influence tactics d) traits e) motivations for actions (or inactions) All of these aspects of leadership, power, and influence were discussed in detail during the first three weeks of the course. Refer to your notes. The body of the paper must be exactly six (6) pages in length. Do not include a title page. You must include a separate Works Cited page. Your Works Cited page must contain at least three (3) credible sources, from a variety of locations (internet is allowable), and you must use properly formatted in-text citations for complete documentation. • Do not use Wikipedia • Do not use an encyclopedic reference for any of the three minimum required sources You must strictly follow MLA format, however, as stated before, a title page is required. Follow the directions on format and completion dates cited in the syllabus. You may choose a subject from a list of notable people, or propose one of your own. These people, selected from within five segments of society, are found on ulearn. An optional initial hard copy is due on the second class meeting of week 4. This copy will be reviewed by the instructor for GLARING faults (i.e., those nonmechanical errors which, if not corrected, would severely and adversely affect your final grade). Ultimately, you are responsible for structure, format, and content. Your final paper is due through Turnitin no later than the start time of the first class meeting of Week 8!
