Worldwide there has been a reconstruction of penalties of crime that seemed too barbaric
and heart wrenching such as death by drugging, beheading or even hanging. Which according to
me is the right choice that would lead humanity into a far more sustainable era in the future?
Death penalties are an uncivilized and inhumane regardless of who gives the go-ahead be it a
judge or even the head of state, back in the day there had been lots of controversial debates over
individuals that faced death penalties and one striking case that catches the eye is the execution
of Todd Willingham, a United States citizen from the state of Texas (Frontline, 2010). It was on
one fateful evening on the eve of Christmas when Todd a father of three was asleep in his house,
the wife had gone for some Christmas shopping and was not back yet. This is when the horrific
