The mural “You are the Star” by Thomas Suriya is located at Wilcox and Hollywood
Boulevard, Hollywood, California, USA. It depicts a number of Hollywood screen legends
where it is placed at strategic position thus providing the passersby with the thrilling privilege to
unconsciously become part of the ongoing show while providing entertainment opportunity for

Thomas Suriya is an incredible artist, he was born in 1994 in the United States, Southeast
Wisconsion. He pursued a degree in Geology in the University of Washington where he
graduated in 1970. He trained himself to paint, small artworks at first. The Idea of painting “You
are the Star” was triggered after Atti, who took over Hollywood family business, asked Suriya to
