The Civil Rights Act of 1964 has prohibited the
discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex or national origin.It has changed the staffing needs
because it states that it is illegal to discriminate in any aspect of employment,
including, hiring and firing, classification of employees, recruitment,
promotions, transfer and even the use of company resources. At the same time,
it addresses issues of denying employment
opportunities to a person because of marriage to, or association with, an
individual of a particular race, religion.
