Running Head:SELECT AN ASSESSMENT TOOL 1 Select an Assessment Tool : In Research Methodology in Human Services Jazmin Filer Rasmussen College Author Note This paper is being submitted on October 14, 2015 for IBobbi Fischer’s HUS4130 Section 02 Research Methodology in Human Services SELECT AN ASSESSMENT TOOL 2 Introduction I was assigned to work for a human service agency that dealt with maintaining social services and providing any necessary assistance to families’ of the people around that place and also those from other places by monitoring and inspecting their health facilities. This was a noble task that had been undertaken by the people who decided to come up with the human service agency. There was a great need to have one since the health conditions and the available health facilities regardless of how much they tried were having many challenges in their service delivery to the people of that area. It is a human service agency that handles juveniles and deals with their health issues. Therefore I decided to take their service delivery to the juveniles as my assessment tool. Body The agency has taken great steps in ensuring that young boys and girls have a healthy life and can enjoy life just like any other people in the society. I saw this as a very attractive tool of assessment to focus on. The agency is not funded by the government but by well-wishers and sponsors. How they can cater for the needs of the sick children has always been a mystery to me.They have not more than sixty children that they take care of; most of them being children and a majority been physically challenged. They have volunteers as well as permanent workers who help to ensure that everything runs smoothly in the agency. Conclusion It is out of portion and great devotion of the people funding the agency and also those working there that has had them achieve great success in their work. Everyone at the agencies SELECT AN ASSESSMENT TOOL 3 works very hard and tries all ways and means to ensure that life is normal for those kids under their care. Their sponsors are also very grateful for any help they receive from other people since it contributes to the success of the agency as it has now become a beacon of hope for the kids and also for the society at large. I appreciated their work a lot since they had taken extra steps t o w a r d s m a k i n g t h e s o c
