Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

5x-2y=3 is the equation of a line and can be written  in the form y=mx+c whereby it becomes

-2y=-5x+3

Divide both sides by -2 to simplify

y=5/2x -3/2

I will finish in a moment

Please let me know if you need any clarification. I'm always happy to answer your questions.

Substitute the values of x and y in the equation

5x-2y=3

5(5) -2(11)=3

25-22=3

Since the points can be mapped in to the equation, then it means they are on the line.

Expressing it in a sentence:

The point (5,11) lies on the line 5x-2y =3 since it is equated on the equation of the line perfectly.
