I HAVE ATTACHED THE APP INVENTION PROPOSAL I TURNED IN EARLIER IN THE COURSE
The students will develop an education app and/or identify an existing app and identify how it can be properly implemented into the classroom. Students will be addressing a pertinent educational need and utilize these instructional aids to fulfill this need on (K-12 or collegiate levels).
Students develop a web-site with a mobile application and create a teacher training (check www.wix.com(Links to an external site.) or www.weebly.com(Links to an external site.) and other similar sites to assist). Next, the students will make presentation (time will be determined by instructor).
Finally, the student will identify a service-learning component, how it may fulfill a societal need, and how such a component can be taught to a specified community group in an 4 to 6 page paper (APA format) that follows the above guidelines.
On-line students, 3-4 page final paper in APA format.
Presentation (in Class on April 24--online student are expected to join virtual and give overview of project):
- Students will make presentations to the class on their scheduled due date. It is strongly recommend that you talk to the class and not read to the presentation. Presentation should only cover highlights (bullet points) of your paper (do not copy and paste parts of your paper into the presentation).
- There will be a rubric the will evaluate students’ presentation.
- Presentation will time is 10 minutes (12 minutes max., not less than 5)

is an essential component of service learning which will help integrate components such as
parents engagement and increased communication between students and tutors to help improve
educational outcomes among students. Service learning through the Remind-Me App presents
me with a unique learning opportunity and personal enhancement experience as well as
providing solutions to community need of enhancing parents’ participation in the children’s
academic progress. Service learning is of immense importance to students to help them grasp a
better understanding of academic knowledge and become socially responsible citizens. RemindMe App will help save time and improve efficiency in academic consultation between college
and undergraduate students and their tutors, it will also help parents to track their children’s
behavior and performance while at school efficiently.
Improved Academic Learning Outcome Resulting From Remind-Me App
Remind-Me App innovation will be important in helping students in graduate or undergraduate
level to schedule class meetings with their respective tutors efficiently and effectively without
having to waste a lot of time in person attendances which are time consuming. This Remind -Me
App will therefore provide a platform for students to engage with their tutors through its online
platform and thus helping the students engage their tutors easily and be able to solve various
problems which may otherwise affect their academic achievements. Remind -Me App will
therefore revolutionize classroom activities and student to teacher interaction by providing a
robust engagement platform where tutors and students can organize meetings aimed at helping
students to understand academic curriculum so as to perform good in their respective subjects
and to help the tutors to easily engage students to help them in understanding the challenges
students may be facing in their respective learning areas, this will help tutors identify gaps in
teaching processes and make adjustments necessary for improved educational outcomes among
the students. In the collegiate level, students require constant guidance and interaction from the
tutors due to the increased research work that will be eased by the remind-me use (Bush, 2015).
Once scaled up to various levels and implemented in our state and across many other schools in
different states it will surely prove its worth as a success story for service learning component to
