Let the height of the balloon be h mile.

From the figure we have the angle of depression from the balloon is 63 degree.

Distance between the radio antenna and the library is 24 miles.

To determine the height of the balloon we will use tan of the angle 63 degree.

Here the opposite side with respect to angle 63 degree is 24 mile and the adjacent side is the height

''h" of the balloon.

1.9626=24/h

h=24/1.9626 mile =12.22 mile(answer-option C)
