Every employee is subjected to equal rights regardless of gender, race, and age. Federal
employment regulations administer all these problems and many others that may be faced by
employees at one time or the other. Among the challenges faced by employees is a gender pay
difference (Brown, n.d.). The act that fights for the equality of employees says that women
should be paid equally with male counterparts at work on jobs that require similar skills,
responsibility, and effort. This pay act of 1963 amends labor ethics that were made in 1938 is a
federal law which bars the discrimination of pay that is based on sex. The act requires the
employers to be paid the same in similar establishment regardless of gender if the jobs they
