Women took part in both their traditional roles to some unconventional roles.They undertook supportive services like nurses,cooks and maids  and  other risky roles like secret soldiers,and spies .

Children on the other hand,Kids would do chores around the camps like collecting firewood.Most kids did unskilled work which was only compensated in food rations.
