The company has multiple locations in the United States and plants in China and France. People are complaining about the working conditions and wages. A group of your fellow workers are talking about the need to fight back. There seems to be a willingness to organize. You have decided to seek the help of a Union. Write the following information in proposal format. Remember to follow APA style as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center and to cite at least three scholarly sources in addition to the course text.

  • Describe the union organizing process.
  • Identify the union you would choose to help you organize and explain why.
  • Describe the the responsibilities of the workers.
  • Describe what the unions can do to help labor.
  • Explain what management can legally say and do when they learn an organization movement is in progress.
  • Explain what can be done to help the workers overseas organize.
  • Explain why the global nature of the business does or does not influence the organization and bargaining process.

The union organizing process
The union is vital in assisting workers to voice their concerns in the world of work
(Seaquist, 2015). The union allows the employees to effectively come with solutions about their
concerns through peaceful methods such as negotiations. The first step to the creation of a union
comprises searching the welfares of workers before the solicitation of the cards of authorization
(Seaquist, 2015). The most compelling sign that a union should use to penetrate a company is
increasing the intensity of criticisms from workers. The National Labor and Relations Board
should be able to admit the solicitation of the cards of authorization. Therefore, after the
ratification of the cards of authorization, the union is then able to epitomize the signer to a
contract with various concerns (Seaquist, 2015). For example, the non-unionized manufacturing
business organization getting served displays that are consistent of the labor violation in the
organization. It calls for the pressing need to persuade workers to sign the cards of authorization.
As long as the union has signed the organization's card from the minimum 30% of the
targeted worker group, the union should be able to file an appeal for representing the worker
group with the NLRB (Seaquist, 2015). If over 50% of the workers in an organization sign the
cards of authorization, then the employer must be able to recognize the union (Alesina, Algan,
