Question Description

Tom: Early humans had a simple form of music played on instruments made from animal bones and skins.
Boris: How do you know that?
Tom: Well, no one has proved that they didn’t. (Points : 1)

Here I can see two statements.  One statement says that humans played music on instruments made of animal bones and skins. The second statement says that no one has proved that they did not use animal bones and skins for the instruments.

This is not appeal to authority because there is no respectable public figure that has claimed this to be true.

This is not appeal to popular opinion because not many people know about this fact.

We see this is not a dilemma, because there are no two consequences here.  The claim is that only one premise is true, that humans made instruments from animal bones and skins.  

This is an example of IGNORANCE FALLACY.

Choose Appeal to Ignorance.

Just because people do not have enough information that early humans made instruments from animal bones or skins, you cannot accept it as true.  This is ignorance.
