presidential powers can be divided into three categories; (1) constitutional powers are powers that the president gets explicitly from the constitution. (2) delegated powers are given to the president by Congress in assisting in the fulfillment of every day duties. (3) inherent powers are inherent to a person by virtue of being president. Constitutional and delegated powers are expressed such that they are outlined in documents. Inherent powers on the other hand can be interpreted differently by presidents and can resultant give them great power. Some of the various ways that inherent power can be interpreted is through; executive orders and privileges and emergency powers.
