The Model Article.pdf

article 1.pdf

My professor said (if you turn this in your final paper you will fail the class) he said that the english is very weak and the literature review need more analyzing and thinking instead of just telling

Attached is my paper of 4 pages and I need to edit the grammar mistakes and improve the sentences to be more academic and advanced and work for graduate school paper.

I just edited the first two paragraph in the writing center.

The part which is highlighted in red (introduction) need to improve and fix and edit .

The part which is highlighted in blue (Literature Review) need to improve and fix and edit and have some direct coats from the refrences articles instead of paraphrasing and add more information and analyze the points and idea instead of just telling. attached you can find the model article which the professor wants my literature review to be the same of it technique and way.

Here is the instructions :

Introduction: (3 to 5 paragraphs) Max 2 pages

In this portion of your paper, you engage the reader by explaining clearly what the focus of your research is and why it's important. You also describe why you were drawn to finding out more about the problem and asking these questions. Remember that part of what you need to do in the introduction is "hook" your reader.

Read information from sources that we have used in class to figure out how the "tone and tenor” of introductions is supposed to sound.

In the introduction, define the topic. Explain why the topic is standing out to you.  MAKE THE READER CARE about the topic by being persuasive and convincing.

Be sure to include something in the introduction about why this topics important for education.

Literature Review (4 pages):

The literature review should be analytical and narrative, not just a re-telling of the information within each book. In other words, you should be able to list your themes and write about them from the informed perspective of the authors you chose, yet in your own words, using citations from those authors as evidence of your theme.

In this section, provide an analytical review of literature . BE SURE TO USE SUBTITLE SECTIONS!!!

1.  There are 5 peer reviewed studies that relate to Diversity in Classroom. Read each of them at least twice

2.  create personal notes for yourself that include the following (do this for each article separately)

A. The author’s most important points.

B. what stood out to you the most in the writing.

C. how was the article organized (into sections) what did you notice about the section headings.

 D. what did you notice about the writing? How can you incorporate the writing style into your own writing?

E. when was the article written? Who wrote it? Why did they write it?

 F. think about what perspective it is written from. Is the author (or authors) explicit about the perspective from which they are coming?

3.  Now, put the information from #2 from each article together by using letters A and B and F (from above). What/commonalities do you notice? à using YOUR OWN WORDS AND IDEAS, create ONE complete sentence that explains what you believe the authors together are focused on. You should come up with three sentence like this after reading 5 pieces of literature.

 Call these your "literature themes”.

4.  Here is how your literature review will look.

Literature Review Section

First Literature Theme (put that first sentence here).

In this part of your paper, discuss what you have learned about this theme from reading the articles. As you are helping us to learn (since you are now the teacher/writer), use direct quotes from authors that you read, which help us to learn what you learned. All of this is done using Your own words. Do not plagiarize- only use "quotes" (Author, 2015, p. 15) Check APA using the Purdue OWL reference purdue.edu/ow/resource/560/01/.

Second Literature Theme (put that second sentence here]

Do the same kind of thing here as you did in the section above.

Third Literature Theme (put that third sentence here)

Do the same kind of thing here as you did in the section above.
