Introduction
Religion and culture are two complex and inseparable in different ways. They share many values
such as historical, economic, political, and social among many others in common (Bruno, 2011).
For example, both European and Arab culture are influenced by religion. European culture being
influenced Christianity while the latter is being influenced by Islam some of the developmental
theories include Jean Piaget, Ronald Goldman, and DavidElkind theories. There are also
challenges to religion in relation to gender and age. Some of the major world religions include
Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism and Islam as some of the example. The paper seeks to address
religion as a factor of cultural development.
