After completing the reading, select an instrument (it can be an instrument that you have already discussed in the class) and discuss point by point Gudmundsson’s (2005) eight points regarding translating and adapting psychological assessment instruments for populations the instrument was not designed for.
For example, point one: Selecting an instrument for translation. Why is this particular instrument the best one for the target construct? Does it have sufficient reliability and validity in its original language? What would transfer from the original standardization sample to the new population?
