❖ Buddhists have the belief that divorced and widowed people limited chances of getting
remarried again. In comparison with the Christians in the United states, the Christians
have the belief that the elderly have limited chances of getting remarried again. It is
evident that the men are most likely to remarry in both cultural subsets compared to
women (Meghea, 2016). In contrast, some cases, of elderly people that are divorced and
widowed have remarried among the Christians while such cases rarely take place among
the Buddhists in china. In United States 12% of the elderly above the age of 65 remarry
while in china only 3% of the elderly remarry (Tamborini, 2017).
❖ Buddhist have the belief divorced and widowed people suffer from depression based on
the losses that they experience on their close people. In comparison to the Christians in
