EEOC Regulations concerning sexual harassment explain how it has changed the staffing process

Nov 11th, 2015

Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

The EEOC regulations concerning sexual harassment has changed the staffing process in many ways.Sexual harassment is a form of discrimination defined in the Civil rights act.Although there are numerous sexual harassment process but the most important are -quid pro and hostile environment.

Quid pro is the exchange of sexual favors for favorable treatment like promotions in rank in the organization and it has nothing to do with the work skills and performance.Hostile environment is simply put as unwanted sexual jokes or advances.

So the EEOC regulations concerning sexual harassment has changed the workplace far more better. Now the promotions of the candidate will be judged based on their performance and not on the basis of sexual favors. This will make the environment more friendly because a person will be able to walk into work and focus on work. They don’t have to deal with judgment and criticism of others based off of their sexual gender.
