PROJECT BACKGROUND AND DESCRIPTION Ø Practical Value: At the beginning of the semester your set specific goals for yourself in this course. This is your opportunity to reflect on your performance and create an action plan to improve areas of opportunity as you celebrate your success. Ø Practical Skills: You will improve your decision making, critical thinking, goal setting, intra-personal, oral, interpersonal, comprehension, critical thinking, analytical, writing, time management, compliance, intercultural, public speaking and reflective skills. 2. PROJECT SCOPE Ø Purpose: The purpose of this written and oral self-analysis is to assess your ability to set goals, reflect and make specific plans to take advantage of new skills as you work to improve areas of opportunity. This is a reflective piece about your growth as a student. After Speech #3, you will be asked to write a detailed self-analysis. This assignment is designed to help you evaluate your growth and performance in this course. Discuss how you have improved this semester, and identify areas that you will continue to refine. You must use concepts from the text and course discussions to make valid points. 3. REQUIREMENTS Ø Cover Page: Be creative. Ø Format: Typed and double-spaced. Handwritten assignments will not be accepted. Ø Margins: One inch margins. Ø Font: Times New Roman. Ø Font Size: 12 pt. Ø Length: Minimum 2 pages. Maximum 3 pages.
