How value proposition in the hotel industry has evolved to change guest behavior across
generations.
The hotel industry is experiencing more problems in finding appropriate ways to offer
customer satisfaction through the goods and services they offer to various generations. Over the
years, there has been a great shift in guest behavior across different hotels. There is an increase
in the level of contentment among customers in the hotel industry. However, the hotels are
struggling to impress their guests by just offering perks that customers have grown fond of.
Thus, the satisfaction levels for guests are starting to fall down. The high levels of dissatisfaction
are eminent in the new generations. In this exercise, I will discuss the concept of value
proposition in the hotel industry, examine the evolution of value proposition and consumer
behavior, and provide examples that relate to changes experienced in the hotel industry. The
