Recall the formula for the volume of a prism = V = (base area)*(height)

With base area = (length * width)

We want the length of this figure.  We know height = 3 ft. width = 7 ft.  Volume = 472.5 cubic ft.

472.5 = length * 3 * 7

472.5 = 21 * length

472.5 / 21 = length

length = 22.5 feet.

Answer choice D.) 22.5 feet.
