Introduction
Immigration is the action of a person or a group of people moving from one geographical

this debate, this paper analyzes the aspect of immigration to the United States of America as well

people immigrate into the United States of America as a way to escape the wrath of poverty and
poor healthcare from the countries that they originate from. The reason for this is because the
United States of America is a land with unlimited resources such as jobs and healthcare. In the
event where a person or a group of persons immigrate to the United States of America, they
create a better platform for their children to lead a prosperous life in their futures, this is because
of the many jobs available in the States.2
Also, some people migrate into the United States of America for the sake of family
reunification. This happens where a person has family in the United States of America and
wishes to reunite with them. As such, they apply for visas in hope to reunite with their families.
This point can also be extended to people migrating to the States from a marriage contract. This
happens via the contemporary diversification of marriage which comes after long – distance
