Hello, I'm Sarah! Thank you for this opportunity, let me begin.
I personally have no problem with violent video games, provided they are in the hands of adults who can handle the gore/language/violence/etc. that these games have in their content. If a person is a responsible adult, there should be no trouble with them blurring the lines between the game and reality. However, under no circumstances do I believe these games should be put in the hands of children, who tend to have more trouble with separating games and reality. The current censorship system of video games (Ex. rated E, T, and M) is effective I believe, so long as everyone follows it and doesn't bend the rules for anyone. For example, a 13 year-old child should without question not be able to buy a game that is rated M without parental consent. All in all, violent video games are acceptable to me, so long as they are not in the hands of young children who cannot handle the content.
Please let me know if you need any clarification. Thanks again!
