Instructional Activity:
Ms. Rollinson is conducting her lesson. Everything seems to be in order until she starts
asking the class questions related to the lesson. This is when Joseph starts making inappropriate
comments during the lesson. He also ridicules other students’ answers and at the same time
talked in class when it was not his time to talk. He does not know it but his behavior affects the
self-esteem of other students. When asked to stop this behavior, he made a theatrical sigh and
sometimes rolled his eyes which made the class burst into laughter. Ms. Rollinson seeks to
