This project isn't much work. I've Started on some it for you, just so you get an idea on what to do.

On the Disability Matrix. You only need to worry about the first two columns and that's it.

For the matrix you are going to focus on 5 of the 12 disabilities and come up with Strategies, Interventions and Accommodations.

For the Disability Resource guide you are going to define, find out the characteristics and prevalences for each of the 12 disabilities.

That it all that is needed.

Definition: An intellectual disability, which is used to be known as "mental retardation" is a disability
that causes limitations both in intellectual functioning and in adaptive behavior. They are conceptual, that is,
they involve problems in memory, reasoning, languages skills, writing, and reading. Also, intellectual
disabilities are characterized by attending social functions, making friends and empathy. This condition is
common among children.

Orthopedic Impairments

Definition: This term means a severe impairment on a child that affects his/her educational levels and performance. The disorder
can be so severe that a child can be subjected to special education.
Characteristics: a child with this disorder shows some physical signs of poor control of muscles, loss of individual limbs and
unsteady gait plus paralysis.
Prevalence: mostly affects school going children

Speech and Language Impairments

Definition: A disorder in communication such as problems in articulating words, stuttering or impairments in a voice which leads to
adverse outcomes in a child's education.
