What has quality meant in the organization where you have worked? How is it measured?

Quality doesnt just happen . It is the product of hard work . coordination between counterparts and constant persue of excellence . Quality in the organization that i worked meant insightful management (not only we dealt with ongoing tasks we the appropriate focus , but also anticipated several possible senarios that might occur after the completion of those tasks. ) Proper delegation of tasks to lower ranks employs is a must if you are to achieve quality and a smoothly running department. If we are talking about a production line then raw materials , storage and assemply are very important factors .    

I would like to note that it has being proven that to rely on initiative of employs is a very bad idea and should be avoided at all costs. The way to do that is by creating predetermant reactions to any event and making sure that every emploee knows them so that you wont rely on his intuition . 

Quality is measured by the end result , if it is a product you are selling then sales is the end result , if its services then again its sales that will define the quality .
