·         You are a small business owner and due to rising costs, you hire friends and pay them as they work instead of bringing them on as “actual” employees. One friend / employee orders way too much from a vendor.

Are you liable to pay for the improper order?

What implications of agency that apply in this situation, and describe at least one (1) way the company may be able to cancel or return the order in question.

Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

Yes, as the business owner, you are liable for all actions and behaviors generated by those whom you employee or verbally contract with, as in this case. All organizations understand that mistake are made, human error is unavoidable, therefore, in most cases, the simplicity of communications and explanations within a timely manner will often rectify this issue or concern when deligating returns.

Please let me know if you need any clarification. I'm always happy to answer your questions.
